Our story
Meet Ben Berthelsen: founder of Bower Building
I started my career in the construction industry back in 2002, as a cabinetmaker, specialising in high-end joinery. After gaining valuable experience, I worked as a head cabinetmaker in a boatyard, where I was responsible for fitting out catamarans.
I then undertook a carpentry apprenticeship and worked for a company that specialised in building family homes and renovating properties.
After a few years, I moved to Port Douglas, where I ran a cabinet shop before starting up Bower Building in 2014. Bower Building is owner-operated — I work with trusted local trades and offer a range of services, including cabinetry, and residential and commercial construction.
Our cabinetry shop is equipped with state-of-the-art tools and machinery, enabling us to deliver high-quality products and services to our clients.
